Our central leitmotif as lawyers is, at the same time, constant motivation which we derive from our clearly idealistically phrased maxims of the free advocate. As an independent advisor and representative in all matters concerning the law; it is our indispensable obligation to protect our clients against any loss of their rights and to further protect them from any faulty decisions either by Law Courts or Authorities (§ 1 part 3 of the Legal Profession Guidelines in the version of 07.11.2002).
Insofar as the legal definition of the liberty of the advocate has overtones of pathos in it, we like to refer to this. A person can only be a lawyer if he sets himself for his client with „body and soul“, and never forgets that often decisions are made, especially the important ones, very much not only with ones’ head, but also from a good feeling.
In the „cause“ we lawyers in our chambers try to put into practise a symbiosis between generalist on the one hand, and specialist on the other. Of course, we am towards a high degree of specialist competence and background knowledge in our specialist areas of medical law, sport und equine law, liability laws as well as product liability laws as well als product liability laws, family law and laws of the labour sector. On the other hand, this often leads over the years to basic trust that has grown between the long-term client and his lawyer, that demand is also great for the same kind of efficiency in these kinds of highly specialised areas.
